What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior scheduled session to allow time for check in and to change.  Light refreshments are available upon arrival.

How do I check in?

Your class begins at our base station, where you will pick up your equipment and receive a short orientation before boarding the boat. Each session lasts for approximately 2 hours, during which beginners will learn the basics of mounting the board, posture and stance, balancing and weight distribution, rope safety, and how to fall into the water. For experienced surfers, our coaches will guide you in more advanced tricks such as carving, floating, rail grabbing and more to level up your skills!

Which boat will I be riding in?

Depending on your location, you will be boarding one of our AXIS or Nautique boats. Our online booking system allows you to choose your preferred model; all our boats are set up to deliver big, clean waves, accommodate large groups, and come complete with coolers and a sound system to enhance your wakesurf session.

Is it OK if I’m just a beginner?

We welcome all beginners, even if this is your first time trying water sports! Our qualified instructors are trained to guide students of all ages and experience levels. We have a high success rate of getting beginners up on the board their first time out with us, and will go as slow as needed to get you comfortable and acclimated to the water.

What if the weather is bad? Do you have a cancellation policy?

A little rain? The show must go on.  However, in case of extreme bad weather we are more than happy to reschedule your session accordingly!

What should I wear?

Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable. We do suggest protective gear, rash guards, sunglasses, hats and flip-flops. We will provide lifejackets and all safety gear onboard.

Can I change on-site?

Of course! Feel free to enjoy a warm shower after. Towels and amenities provided.

Can I bring my own gear?

Definitely! Just let our staff know prior hand.

Is it okay to bring food and drinks on board?

Yes! Water will be available on board. Delivery service can also be arranged for you.

What time of day is best to schedule my lesson?

If you are a beginner or your biggest priority is improving your skills on board, we suggest to book in a morning session (6-10am) when the water is calmer. Afternoons will generally be warmer, but the water may be choppier due to the increased breeze and more boats out on the water.

Where will we be headed out on the boat?

With Hong Kong’s beautiful beaches and bays as our playground, our instructors are well-versed on the best spots to hit the waves, depending on the weather and time of day, and will tailor the itinerary accordingly based on the forecast and conditions.
